Custom Finished Floating Staircase | Woodmere, Long Island

In this Woodmere, NY project, our team took a newly installed floating staircase and elevated it with a completely custom finishing process. The wood was carefully sanded to prepare a flawless surface for a multi-layer stain application, achieving both depth and richness in the color. To ensure durability and long-lasting beauty, we applied three coats of commercial-grade, water-based urethane, offering protection against daily use while preserving the staircase’s modern elegance.

To complete the design, we fabricated a custom wood sleeve for the staircase’s structural support post. This sleeve was stained and finished to seamlessly match the steps, creating a cohesive and refined look. The result is a floating staircase that blends strength, sophistication, and artistry—an eye-catching centerpiece within the home.
